387140Larue Sheeley Tucker, age 85, peacefully returned home to her Heavenly Father on June 25, 2009 in Cedar City, Utah. She was born February 9, 1924 in Hershey, Pennsylvania to Mark O. Sheeley, Sr. and Helen Moats Sheeley. She married Grant Cartis Tucker, June 10, 1949 in the St. George Temple and they just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. Larue and her twin sister were the first set of twins born in Hershey. She graduated from Hershey High School with a business degree and went to work in the Hershey Department Store. When her twin married and moved west Larue came out to visit, met her sweetheart Grant, married him and stayed in Cedar City where they lived for 30 years. They spent the last 30 years in Bloomington, Utah. She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had many callings including Primary president, Primary teacher, and Relief Society president. She loved working with the youth and working in the temple. She enjoyed working in her yard and gardens, her roses, crocheting, crafts, and collecting salt and pepper shakers. 386118St George, UT - Margaret Louise Coleman, age 91, passed away on Monday, June 22, 2009 in St. George. She was born on February 11, 1918 in Las Vegas, Nevada to James and Louise Jones Fleming. She married Henry Shirl Coleman on June 5, 1964 in the Los Angeles LDS Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Margaret was raised in Oregon and was active in the Church for many years. She completed her education at Utah State University with a B.S. in 1959 and her M.S. in 1960. She was a teacher for many years, finishing her career at the University of Nevada - Reno. She and Shirl served on a teaching mission in Tonga in the South Pacific in the early 1980's and a second mission in Mexico in the early 1990. After returning from Tonga, they moved from their home in Reno, Nevada to Salt Lake City, Utah. Upon return from their mission in Mexico, they moved to St. George, Utah. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Darleen Lee of Ogden Utah; son, Stevan Coleman and wife Suzanne of Reno, Nevada; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and 21 great-great- grandchildren. Margaret had 6 brothers and one sister. She was preceded in death by two of her brothers. Her husband Shirl Coleman passed away in 1998. Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 26, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Metcalf Mortuary Chapel, 288 W. St. George Blvd, St. George, Utah. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the chapel, prior to services. Interment will be on Saturday June 27, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. at the Midway City Cemetery in Midway, Utah. Santa Clara, UT - Naomi Elizabeth Bolton, age 85, passed away on June 21, 2009. She was born on February 16, 1924 in Lowell, Arizona to Pearl Alexander Young and Maria D. Messer. She is preceded in death by her husband Henry L. Bolton. She is survived by her sons. A graveside service will be held Friday, June 26th at 10:00 a.m. at the Santa Clara City Cemetery. 385096Salt Lake City, UT - Jelaire Chandler Simpson, 88, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother returned to her Heavenly Father June 20, 2009. Jelaire was born February 27, 1921 in Ogden, Utah, the oldest of three daughters born to Ezra A. Chandler and Kathryn Marie Denkers. As a child her family moved to Southern California when Ezra began working for Southern Pacific Railroad. Jelaire graduated from Englewood High School in 1938. She then graduated from UCLA in elementary education and became a school teacher. She married Elder Robert L. Simpson on June 24, 1942 in the Arizona LDS Temple. Elder Simpson preceded her in death April 15, 2003. They are the parents of four children: Steven (Kaye); Christine (Wayne); Kathryn (deceased); and Robert (Anne). Jelaire has 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Jelaire taught Seminary for four years in Southern California. Elder Simpson was called to be Mission President over the New Zealand Mission for the LDS Church in 1958 and they moved their entire family to New Zealand for three years. Jelaire and Elder Simpson lived in various parts of the world throughout their lives after he was called to be a General Authority for the Church in 1961. 384309Kolob Mountain, UT - Krysti Lyn Forsyth, age 42, passed from this earth life on June 19, 2009. Krysti was born the second of eight children to Joseph Allen Walker and Bonnie G. Curtis on February 17, 1967 in Lakeview, Oregon. Krysti married Bryan J. Forsyth in the St. George LDS Temple on August 26, 1986. Krysti spent her early years in West Valley, Utah. In 1976, Krysti moved with her family to New Harmony, Utah. From her parents, and in that gentle community, Krysti was shown great love. This love and understanding made a significant impact on her life and she tried to share that same love and understanding with all she met. Krysti was a valiant member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints and felt a special bond between her and the young women she mentored during her 13 years in Hurricane, Utah. Krysti was passionate about art and interior design. This passion was reflected in her furniture refinishing, oversize clock making, and her oil paintings. Krysti is survived by her husband, Bryan J. Forsyth and her three children; Zachary, Brenna, and Anna. She is also survived by her father, Joseph Allen (Marleen)Walker; four brothers and three sisters: Charles S. (Melissa) Walker, Margaret (Curtis) Anderson, Jeanette (Darren) Woolsey, Matthew (Kami) Walker, Jacob (Tiffany) Walker, Benjamin (Teri) Walker, and Sandra (Michael) Brunson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Bonnie G. Walker. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hurricane LDS 8th Ward Chapel, 155 East 1050 North, Hurricane, Utah. Visitations will be Tuesday, June 23 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hurricane Valley Mortuary, 140 N. Main St., Hurricane, Utah and on Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the chapel, prior to services. Interment will at the Hurricane City Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-674-4221.
