HATCH OFFERS “MIXED” REACTION TO ADMINISTRATION’S NUCLEAR ARSENAL BLUEPRINT |

U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) today offered a “mixed” reaction to the Obama Administration’s Nuclear Posture Review (NPR), a blueprint for the future of America’s nuclear arsenal.
“My reaction to this new nuclear weapons strategy is mixed,” said Hatch. “This proposal does not sufficiently lay out how many land-based Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles (ICBM) we will need as a nation. Furthermore, we recently reduced the number from 500 to 450, and I fear further reductions are unwarranted and counter-productive to our national security.”

Dixie State College of Utah Thursday received Utah State Board of Regents approval to offer three new degree programs, including the institution’s 14th and 15th baccalaureate degrees, at its meeting held Thursday at Snow College in Ephraim. The degree approvals continue the College’s progression toward fulfilling its mission to offer core, foundational and high demand educational opportunities.
